ACCELERATED CURING PLANTS
Curing process consists in controlling the rate at which moisture is lost from freshly poured concrete, providing time for cement hydration to take place. Accelerated curing techniques deal with the control of temperature as well, since this parameter affects the rate at which cement hydrates, and consequently the final properties concrete can achieve.
Ione specifically deals with accelerated curing techniques, which rely on steam, hot water, hot air and thermal oil as thermal fluid to speed up the cement hydration.
Accelerated curing processes can be applied, among other products, to:
Precast prestressed concrete products such as beams, girders, hollow core panels, bridge elements;
Vibrated manufactured concrete products such as panels cast on fixed or tilting tables or columns
Concrete blocks and paver
Terrazzo tiles
